Geeky iPhone cover design
This was one of those just-for-fun projects I did for myself to spice up the appearance of my iPhone. It represents all the things I love in life.
Inter Housing Council Branding
A new logo designed for the Cal Poly Inter Housing Council.
Fall Launch branding
In Fall 2009, Cal Poly held it’s first Fall Launch for freshmen in University Housing, which occurred the week before the Week of Welcome. It was a chance for students to get to know others in their dorms and the new event needed an original branding concept for its big kickoff.
This was the winning logo of choice among housing administrators becuase it is clean and professional, but still appealing to students. The little arc shapes on top are meant to represent the hills at Cal Poly where all the dorms and on-campus apartments are located, but it also implies a feeling of moving foward, which was the intention of Fall Launch.
Promotional materials using the logo:
Connections Program Branding
Designed for a the Cal Poly connections program, which is a program designed for ensuring academic success, making faculty connections, exploring new possibilities and finding support for students on campus.
Staff training handbook – housing
A 39-page handbook for incoming staff members. The booklet was designed in InDesign.
RA/CA recruitment postcards
My design campaign boosted resident and community advisor applications by 200 percent in 2009 at Cal Poly from prior years. These postcards followed the same general branding scheme as a series of large posters and multimedia presentations sent out to residents.
Cal Poly postcard design
This postcard was designed for Cal Poly’s recruitment efforts withing the housing department. The cards were sent out to prospective candidates for a learning community coordinator position. The cards were meant to be reminescent of vintage landmark postcards from the mid 1900s.
Inauguration poster design

This promotional design was created for Cal Poly Associated Students, Inc. for their screening of the Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 20, 2009. The parameters for this project were only to make it “urban and fun.” The posters were printed 26 x 24″ and placed all around Cal Poly’s campus in the week leading up to the inauguration.
